Lucky #13 it is!

Lucky #13 it is!

June 1 marked the beginning of a thirteenth year of work together with the HEB ISD Education Foundation, and we are proud to be teaming again with this thriving nonprofit whose sole mission is to support HEB ISD’s excellence in education.  We’ve had the pleasure to serve education foundations in Irving, Fort Worth, Plano, Birdville, Marble Falls, and Arlington, but few compare with the outstanding board, community, donor, and district engagement found within the HEB ISD Education Foundation

Through more than a decade of work together, Project Partners has helped provide consistent results through three superintendents, six board chairs, and now thirteen volunteer boards of directors.  How lucky are we?

TCHC and Project Partners – Together Again!

Tarrant County Homeless Coalition (TCHC) selected Project Partners as their consultant after receiving a ToolBox Grant from the North Texas Community Foundation in 2022. That work focused on board development and creating a culture that will attract strong talent and equip board members to be as effective as possible during their tenure. At the end of our time together, we presented a report to their Board of Directors and staff leadership that included a number of recommendations related to recruitment, orientation, and engagement.

We were thrilled when TCHC reached out to us to continue this work, moving from the planning phase to the action phase. This spring and summer, we will be working with TCHC to operationalize many of the recommendations developed last year, including developing a board orientation process and working with the current board to develop a two-year strategic plan that focuses specifically on fundraising and board engagement. This plan will align with the strategic plan that the organization already has in place related to programs and operations.

It's always a wonderful opportunity – both for us and for our clients – when we get to work together on multiple projects, particularly ones that build on one another. We love being your partner for good, every step of the way!

Foundation Staff to Meet, with a Focus on Values

Our friends at the Rainwater Charitable Foundation (RCF) are gathering all staff members and their Board Chair for a day of work and community building, with a unique focus on organizational values and how best to live out those values.  Isn’t that a wonderful way for a team to stay centered and mission-minded?  We really look forward to facilitating the conversations and introducing a very experiential opening exercise led by Todd McCann of Rhythm4u.   Thanks, RCF, for calling on us!

We absolutely love to serve returning clients.  How can we become your partner for good

PROJECT PARTNERS’ WORK EXPANDING TO TCC SOUTH AND TCC SOUTHEAST

After a similar assignment for Tarrant County College (TCC) Northeast, Project Partners will be working with campus leaders at Tarrant County College (TCC) South and Tarrant County College (TCC) Southeast to provide consulting for their recognized IDD (Intellectual or Development Disabilities) Programs.   Always seeking to best meet the needs of their communities, they have asked us to reach out to stakeholder groups to collect and compile information on current program delivery, liken to best practices and state standards, and provide program review findings for ongoing strategic planning and continuous improvement.

With a specialty in education and workforce development, we find it a real privilege to continue to serve TCC, and are also very appreciative of the collaborative work over more than two decades.
