HEB ISD Staff members were “ALL IN” this year for the 2018-2019 Employee Giving Campaign. In one week, 775 HEB ISD employees pledged or paid a record-setting $33,000 in support of the mission of the HEB ISD Education Foundation. How did this happen? We’ll be writing some Good Advice articles on the subject, so check there often, but the short answer is this: Incredible district principals, educators and staff members; highly engaged Education Foundation board members; incentives and rewards; and a dedication to educational excellence by all.

United Way of Tarrant County - Northeast Presents 26th Annual Report to the Community

Ellen Jones, Chair of the United Way NE Steering Committee served as emcee for this report-out event at the Hurst Conference Center. While education and health care remain top priorities for our community, as evidenced by UNTHSC’s community assessment results, transportation was the key focus of this year’s Community Report. Fred Schmidt - TCC Northeast Campus, Oscar Trevino - Mayor of the City of North Richland Hills and Glenn Isbell - Bell, served on the panel to speak to “Innovations in Transportation”. We are grateful for United Way (a client and collaborator) who serves Northeast Tarrant County and beyond.
