Cassata Catholic High School’s 20th annual Noche de Gracias was enjoyed by more than 200 guests on the patio of Joe T Garcia’s on an unseasonably cool and windy day. Hearts were warmed by the highlights of the evening which included hearing from a successful alumni from 1997; a grateful parent; the 2017 valedictorian; the advisory council chair; and also honoring Good Shepherd Catholic Community with the Spirit of Cassata award. This school has been changing lives since 1975.

Association of Fundraising Professionals
Project Partners presented the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Fort Worth Chapter luncheon program on crucial strategies for grant writing success. If you’d like a copy of the handout, please give us a shout. Project Partners has done much grant writing and grant program management in our 23 years - as part of larger scopes of work; as interim help during key staff transitions; and as long-term assignments for clients who love the many benefits of contracting for professional help.
HEB ISD Education Foundation Awards of Excellence
The HEB ISD Education Foundation once again produced an inspiring event - the Awards of Excellence - recognizing 33 high school seniors and their teacher mentors in 14 fields of study. Foundation board member participation was exemplary, as was the support from the HEB ISD Board of Trustees, the HEB ISD Cabinet, elected officials, and our donors, who make this event and all of the foundation’s work possible.
