& Control department, designed and developed a “Friends of Henry and Scout”
giving program, created to attract much-needed, ongoing financial support for
the city’s animal care initiatives.Provided the creative and fundraising concept, the logo, copywriting,
webpage design consultation, creation of the fundraising tools, database
management, a “First Friends” lead gift approach, and an implementation
plan.Friends of Henry and Scout
launched at the grand opening of the medical treatment ward with hundreds of
“First Friends” giving or pledging almost $64,000.
Project Partners provided the Community Foundation of North Texas the capacity to produce the North Texas Giving Day Rally by providing expert advice and hands-on project management. Identified, recruited, and managed the entertainment line-up and orchestrated all logistics.
Assessment phase for fundraising and community engagement ’14
Texas Council on Family Violence
Developed specific survey questions. With President, developed the list of staff, volunteers and partners to survey. Developed a list of needed items for review. Conducted a work day in Austin for survey work. After gathering information, analyzed the strengths, challenges and greatest opportunities for success related to the goals at hand. Outlined those in the recommendations report and provided by e-mail. Answered questions and further explain the content of the report. Presented the final report to the TCVF board in Austin.
Provided consulting services during an assessment phase to discover
opportunities for TCFV to strengthen its messaging in Austin and across the
state, especially with fundraising in mind. Also considered the feasibility of
a branded fundraising event and other ways to increase revenues and a staffing
needs review to support the recommendations.After research, study, surveys with key stakeholders, and the use of our
Infrastructure for Fundraising Success tool, we delivered a
recommendations report to the CEO and Board of Directors who work tirelessly to
build a safer Texas – free from family violence.

Facilitation of regional staff workshop regarding Organizational Leadership Changes ’13
Created agenda and framework to achieve goals. Facilitated the conversation in Irving for the Regional Program Manager (Laura Misuk) of this national organization during a regional staff meeting focusing on leadership changes and goal setting. Included five Program Developers from across the country. Facilitation was necessary due to abrupt staff changes.

Reviewed research conducted to date and current communications and fundraising information.
Used our “Infrastructure for Fundraising Success” tool and surveyed staff and volunteers
to determine best opportunities to achieve organizational goals regarding mission-drive,
donor-centric communications and community engagement. Delivered recommendations report
and reviewed with staff and volunteers. Carried work forward to implement a number of
recommendations including a board orientation on the board’s role in fundraising and
community engagement, and staff and volunteer job descriptions.
Also in 2014, served as project coordinator for the All State Foundation Purple Purse Challenge, an online, Crowdrise-based initiative designed to raise funds and awareness. Coordinated staffing team and provided community outreach, PR, fundraising, event management, and online technical support.

Capital Improvements/Reorganization Feasibility Study Lockheed Martin Recreation Association (LMRA)
Worked with LMRA manager and board to identify prospective affiliate corporate partners,
develop survey tool and visuals, schedule and conduct interviews, compile and analyze data,
and report results. Information provided will help the association make informed decisions
as it moves forward as the Corporate Employees Recreation Association, without any
subsidy from Lockheed Martin. Twelve acres of recreation and fitness facilities at the Bryant
Irvin site remain after the sale of some of the recreation area at the Bryant Irvin site.
The Squaw Creek Golf Course in Willow Park remains as well.

Advised Board Chair on collaborative community program development as board was forming and

Took over the event held at the Texas Motor Speedway when ALA development director left the organization within months of the event.
